Elena! Where the frak - are you in the city. Are you dead. Don't be dead.

Dean! What did you do with Elena's pants?

Nothing like seeing a real live planet...
I'm awake, if anyone was worried.
Anyone want to go run a few miles?

She gave me some pills in a ziploc like that changes anything. And she kept trying to blame Mal because she wasn't right up her ass keeping her from being sloppy.

I was checking the paper, found some reports that stuck out to me. Police calls. Some stuff that read familiar to me. I've dealt with shit like this before, okay?
So I go down to stake it out - second night in, and I'm down in this stupid nightclub, and there's Elena. I hang around, check a guy that "had too much to drink" while his friends are helping him out the door, and wouldn't you know it something's had too much to drink of him, too.
She went out the back, I went out the front, we met over her next meal in an alley.

[This is a good sign!]
Okay. And then the second guy dies and you two bang each other up a little.

Something like that. I interrupted, she half took out his throat, I tried to get the bleeding to stop while she tried to explain to me that no, really, she was only munching on bad guys, and oh wouldn't I like to be pissed off at anyone else for not stopping her?
The guy died, and I tried to use dead man's blood to take her back to the Barge without a fight. Newsflash: That doesn't work on her kinda vein hoover.

Okay. She's definitely grounded.
Feel free to help me think up a creative way to mess up her day, because that's going to be the most effective way of punishing her. The big stuff, I think she'll make herself not care about, so I'm going to try little but lingering annoyances first.
You looked her for the rest of port?
private
Not like that's much of a secret anymore, though.]
Oh, I'm real good at being obnoxious. Only neon colored makeup from now on. Mismatched accessories. Short sheets. Toothpaste that makes her teeth turn green if she drinks live blood.
I tried, anyway, but it's a big city and she knew I was on to her by then. And then you guys showed up, and I uh. Yeah.

How often does she text?

D'you have any clue how to deal with vampires?
private
And honestly, Dean, she's not just... a vampire. There's a lot going on there. I think she's hurting so much that she thinks she's better off feeling nothing, and it seems to me that she has to hit the bottom of that spiral herself before she comes climbing out.
I'll try to limit the damage to people on the Barge next time. At least they can come back.

We don't get to decide who deserves what. Neither does she.
private
But I wasn't awake, and I can't change what happened, and I can't make her feel guilty about it. But my bet is she'll feel it eventually. Sooner or later.
private
Did you find out who it was that let her off? That blood is on their hands.

Not you, you. Them you. Whoever.
